They gave me a lease with a monthly flex fee, and they said, with this flex fee you can return the car after 18 months, you pay this premium fee but you get that flexibility to return the car… now (and i did not know this would happen) I am forced to return the car for private reasons, and only now they show me that a clause in the contract says I have to pay the monthly fee for all the months until the end of the contract (4 years)… at the same time the car gave a warning sign showing a sensor was broken… but I never had an accident and the car has no signs of crashes or scratches, still they asked me to claim the insurance for the damage when it was clear is it most probably something else or a defect…. Besides these above, other issues, system stops while driving, screen goes off, car is supposed to lock itself when I walk away with the key, sometimes works sometimes not, and many more issues when I call and explain there are no answers or solutions besides restarting the car. Feel sorry to give 2 stars cause the car drives amazing and it’s probably the closest driving experience to Porsche but they could do better in service

What kind of company is this? Do they actually sell cars, or are they doing you a favor by selling one? I’ve never encountered anything like this before. I had an appointment (at 12:00) to view a car, but that same morning (at 10:15), just before leaving, I noticed on their website that the car was marked as sold. So I called them and was immediately put under crossfire, first by a receptionist who sounded like she’d spent her entire life in the military, and then by a carefree salesman who gave the impression that he became a salesman by pure accident, simply because he happened to be walking past the BMW showroom and randomly picked up the phone. I won’t even mention the fact that no one bothered to call me or send an email to inform me that the car had already been sold, so my trip to Amsterdam was completely pointless. Apparently, this is a company with no competition, where the customer isn’t particularly important, because there will always be someone else who buys a car anyway. So they don’t need to be polite, it’s the customer who has to make an effort to get them to sell a car. A ridiculous company, ridiculous people with their noses in the air. I hadn’t checked the reviews of this company before, only now have I read them. I’m no longer surprised by the number of negative ones. Well, I’ll buy a car somewhere else , from a professional company where the salespeople know what they’re doing and are actually polite. You’re not the only ones on the market. Amusing xd

Changed my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. Jan-Willem called me and he really wanted to look at the workshop capacity problem together with me. I was told before that I have to wait for 1 month for an engine repair, but now they want to look at options on how to do it earlier. That is the quality and customer care that I expected from Van Poelgeest Amsterdam, and they delivered. That is the reason that even after 7 years, I am still choosing them as a service partner.

I’ve owned cars from different manufacturers, and this has been the most unpleasant experience ever. The car itself isn’t the best, but it was my choice, and I have to live with it. The real issue is the dealership experience — from sales to service, they simply don’t listen once the purchase is complete.

Yesterday I visited the service center and liked the experience. The stuff is super friendly and they really wanted to help. The facility is interesting to explore and you can see through the window on the 2nd floor all the cars in the workshop.
